National Testing Agency is held responsible for releasing the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Mathematics syllabus.The syllabus is made available on the official website of CUET 2023at https://cuet.samarth.ac.in. The Mathematics syllabus for CUET 2023provides clarity on the topics that would be asked in the examination. The Mathematics syllabus specifies the number of units, names of the topics, and their topics and outlines the important information related to topics. Candidates wishing to appear for the Mathematics domain can download the Mathematics syllabus PDF from the link given below. The syllabus is the heart of preparation because, without it, preparation cannot be done. Hence, it is mandatory for all the aspirants of the Mathematics domain to have very good knowledge of the syllabus.In the syllabus PDF, it is clearly stated the syllabus for Section-A and Section- B1, and Section-B2. There are a number of topics in these sections.
CUET 2023 Overview
CUET 2023 is a national-level entrance examination that is conducted by NTA in collaboration with the University Grants Commission for the aspirants seeking admission in UG programmes in Central Universities of India. CUET 2023consists of three sections. Section I is further divided into two parts viz Section- IA and Section – IB. These two sections are going to be language tests. Section-II deals with domain-specific subjects and Section III is a general test.
The Mathematics question paper of CUET 2023 will have two sections viz Section- A and Section B. Section-B is further divided as Section-B1 and Section- B2. Section- A of the mathematics question paper consists of 15 questions, which are compulsory. These questions are taken from Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. Section- B1 will have 35 questions out of which 25 questions should be attempted. These questions are from Mathematics. Section-B2 will also consist of 35 questions from Applied Mathematics out of which candidates must answer any 25 questions.
CUET 2023 is conducted in 13 languages viz Assamese, Telugu, English, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Kannada, Urdu, Malayalam, Odia, Bengali, and Marathi. The examination is going to be held across India in 547 cities and 13 cities in abroad. Qualified candidates will be getting admission in Central Universities or Private Universities or State Universities as per their choice and preference.

Practice is Key
One of the effective ways to prepare for the Mathematics subject is to practice as much as one can. Mathematics is a hands-on subject. It cannot be mastered until a candidate practices the subject. Candidates are advised to keep o practicing the concepts that they have learned. The more practice takes place the better performance will be.
List down all formulae
It is very important to remember a lot of formulas while learning the subject called Mathematics. It becomes very difficult to remember all of them until candidates write all the formulas and learn them every day. Therefore, it is important to prepare a chart with all the formulas and try to keep it in a place where you often sit or spend time. Writing and learning all the formulae is very essential because most of the mathematical problems are solved by using them.
Understand the derivations
It is very important to understand the derivations and the logic behind it in order to solve the problems. Even though candidates they learn the formulas but still there is a greater requirement to understand the logic behind it in it application. Understanding the derivations is very important.
